Joy Bringers R'Us concieved and founded by Mary Mwatsama , a Christian Social Psychologist who driven by desire to make a difference to the lives of people in the society. The organization was set up by Mary Mwatsama, a christian Social Psychologist who was driven by her desire to make a difference to the lives of people in her community.

Mary began by visiting her neighbours. She found people who were eager to tell their stories of everything from broken relationships to illness and poverty.

As a result of her visit, people were willing to do something to improve the quality of their lives. Joy Bringers has continued to provide hope to the community for people in their time of need.

Together with her husband, Clement Mwatsama and a team of volunteers Joy Bringers set up a drop in centre for the community, activities for young people inluding, a debate, chess and football club, a girls club and a mentoring and counselling service for the whole family
